IDrive Retrofit
Im working on buy an Idrive system out of a local salvage yard here. I have a 2006 with no idrive ever, if I do this would I be able to get the combox and get it coded to work with bmw apps and pandora etc?

I've read that, I was wondering more about the combox. Is there a certain I drive system I need to buy and such. The wiring isn't a huge concern to me. Basically I want the system plus the apps. I do realize for navigation to work I need to buy a hardware chip and solder it as well as the apps I believe. I have some pretty good salvage yards and I should be able to get the system for pretty cheap.
