Moved from Misc: Up for sale is a brand new passport 9500ix radar detector. For the money, this detector cannot be beat.
If you want more info on the detector itself, I suggest you google and read around, you will find nothing but positive feedback!

Is it going to burn my hands when I touch it?

Where did you get it and why are you selling it? I am also guessing that it can still be registered and eligible for the 90 day free updates.

Just make sure to wear gloves when you open it and you should be fine. Yes, you should still be able to get the free updates. I just moved off to college and I don't see myself having a car the next two years. No use hanging onto it.

Updates are a joke in the states. Oooh red light cameras, the trick is dont run a red light. I have the same Radar and it has never let me down. The GPS filters out the your speed is signs, the ones on the tolls, and all the walgreens and quickie marts you can think of.

Just a friendly reminder... It also locks out any of the cops clocking you within a certain distance (unsure of how wide this is) from the original source (i.e. the walgreens and "your speed signs").

Do you have the cord to make it compatible for the Escort Live feature? If so, is it Android or I Phone compatible? At least people are looking at it. Just remeber, people are a little more careful with their money now. I got rid of my valentine one and am thinking about replacing it.
