Good deal? 335i coupe - ZSP/ZPP/Auto/Graphite/Coral/Alum/~3400 miles - $45k

Private party. Reported in mint condition. According to Edmunds, its private party is ~$44k, and I'd hope to bring it down to that at least, anyway.

I tried checking kbb, but either 07 values for BMWs aren't there, or I just didn't find it.

Input appreciated.

Thanks for the response. I would have gotten a new one by now, but alas, I was bitten with the bug quite late in MY07. Thus, finding what I wanted (by the time I had a better idea of what I wanted) was difficult. Now it's pretty much a matter of either wait for an 08 or buy used. I could resign myself to waiting a couple of months, but aside from my impatience, I like the idea of dealing with a private party to get a good deal and let someone else eat as much depreciation as possible. With a new car, that would be me.

In that light, this car @ 45k doesn't quite measure up. So, yeah, I've kind of answered my own question, perhaps, maybe, a bit. Maybe I just want someone to tell me it's not that bad so I can justify it.

I'd also wait for an '08 and get it new.

You should also ask yourself why this person is selling a car that's so new with so few miles. Did he bite off more of a payment than he could chew? Did he get issued a company car? Did he win the lottery and opt for a more expensive car?

Or...

...did he get a lemon 335?

It just sounds too fishy to me.
