Miro wheels!! a piece of CRAP!! DONT BUY!!!!

Hey everyone,

I bought a set of Miro 942 wheels for my car about a year and half ago. I took my car today to the dealer to get both rear tires change because I had a nail on one so just decided to get them both new. When I go to pick up my car the guy tell me dude, both of the rims are crack in the inside. And im like what your talking about so he shows me and yes they are actually crack. ( and I live in miami were all roads are extremely smooth, is not like I go off road) so i call Miro wheels and tell them about it, so I can get warranty.

The guy tells me warranty is for one year, when i tell him that that is not stated on their website, and he says well im telling you know. What kind of good wheel last you only a year and half? So basically they want me to buy 2 new wheels and who know maybe even the front wants are crack, I will have to get them checked out.

JUST WANT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW EVEN THOUGH THIS WHEELS LOOK NICE AND ARE CHEAP DO NOT BUY THEM. THEY ARE HORRIBLE QUALITY. NOT WORTH A CENT TO BUY THIS PICE OF SHIT. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON MIRO WHEELS, IT IS WORTH THE EFFORT TO PAY A BIT MORE AND GET SOMETHING BETTER QUALITY!!!!

that can (and does) happen with a lot of cast wheels. and most aftermarket wheel companies only offer 1 yr warranty anyway. sucks that happened to you, but thats the way it is.

Miro wheels seems to have a few bad wheels, try to stick with reputable aftermarket wheels and reputable dealers who would stand behind their wheels

That is too bad. I have gone through the same thing with a similar company.

Now is stick with ISO certified wheel manufacturers with high engineering standards. It does mean you will pay between 50 - 100% more but you will get a superior wheel and one that has better performance. Not to mention one that will be lighter.

Look at the new rotary forged technology. Cheaper that forged. Engineering and durability is superior that cast. Firms like TSW have excellent quality control for example. But there are more firms out there.

sorry to hear about your experience. this just shows that looks and price shouldn't be the only factors people should consider when buying wheels. it pays in the long run to spend a little more for a higher quality wheel.

I don't know why people cheap out on wheels, and then get nice tires for their car.

Most people here understand the differences in high performance tires, and know the tradeoffs when going cheaper. This is no different with wheels.

Garage List
2007 e92  [7.00]
i say this...Miro 279 was the first rim in my life that ever bent. And I've hit some bad bumps way before this.... From what i heard the Miro 111 is the best made wheel they have. They made it strong from what I read. But the rest of them are so nicely made.

As people know NO RIM IS PERFECT....I've seen BBS, ADV.1, Volk, etc crack bend and break. Each just have their own tolerance and breaking point. So please don't assume just b/c you buy a more expensive wheel it won't get damaged.

Purchased my Miro 942's January 2011. Two years later changed tires... both rear are cracked (left one enough where it's slowly letting air escape) and one of the front is bent. Definitely not buying Miro (or any other really cheap wheels) again.

Could be the Run Flat Tires?

The original set of BMW OEM 313 wheels on my '11 335is took a lot of punishment on those painful 255/30R19 RFTs that BMW shackled on there for 4 long years. By 2015 The 2 rear wheels had 3 cracks between them. air leak in 1

So my question to OP would be, did you install the OEM low profile RFTs on those Miro knockoffs?

Year and a half doesn't sound as bad if OEM can barely do 4. If they're half the price? they're almost worth it!

Just sayin
