just ordered jbd
Im pretty excited. I lament over not ordering the k&n filter.
I mean its only a trip down to parts store. from what ive read on here, its not too much of a difference for these types of engines. Any advice? |

Good work with the JBD! You're going to love it; transforms the car under throttle.
Personally, I think you're better off with the stock filter. Why cake up your engine for a little bit of extra intake/turbo noise? Put the 50 bucks toward gas and lunch for when you take an accidental road trip while enjoying your JBD. |

be carefull the oil from K&N does not eventually run into the MASS Flow sensor otherwise it WILL void the warranty for that part It happened to me with my 02 MCS, luckily my MINI mechanic was Puerto Rican and hooked me up
