Ultimate Racing Downpipes
Fedex just arrived and brought me a new set of the ultimate racing downpipes. My wife took my camera to work so it will be a little while before I post some pics. They look just like the website photos. The welds look very clean. Oh I guess i should tell you that I got the high flow cats. V2 and my meisterschaft cant get here soon enough. Only negative is that it didn't come with install instructions.
Thanks Again UR Last edited by psu139; 08-15-2007 at 06:06 PM.. |

Congrats! Just take them to a local shop to have them installed; I'm sure they'll be able to figure it out. PROcede v2.0 + the UR downpipes should make your car an unreal MONSTER!!!!
btw -- I hope you have stickier, wider non-RFTs; if not, then that should be your next mod since you need them!

I have access to a lift and have done similar exhaust stuff. I really want to do it myself in case i need to remove them for any reason. I am curious to know how much it would cost to get installed. It might be worth having someone do.

I wouldn't do it, but obviously it depends on how comfortable you are with this kind of mod; I believe the guy from either UR or RR said that it would take the average person ~ 3 hours to install (which would suck in the S. FL heat ), so a service technician should be able to do it in less time without really mucking it up. If I were you, I'd pay someone to install and watch their every move (if you want to know how to uninstall/install)...but that's just me.

Sweet man! Yeah for sure post some dyno's before and after if you can:
NYCGarbagePrince - You have the catless ones I see. Does it have a good loud sound...meaning it sounds deep? or is it riecy?? |

No faulty code readings with all of your mods? I've got the TT and was thinking about the UR downpipes as an add on...but I'm concerned it will throw bad codes...

I received my cat downpipes today and I can say they are light as hell. The cats are tiny, I thought that both downpipes would be heavy but they are extremelly light in weight.
I haven't put them in yet but I am planning on perhaps this weekend. I would let you guys know how the installation goes (if I do it). |
