Can I go from 18" to 17"?
Would the car give me any error codes if I went from my stock 18" rims to 17" rims? I want to put on 17" rims so I can put on runflats that aren't low profile. I'm tired of damaged tires and rims from potholes.

You can indeed minus size to 17" but not many will clear the brakes. We have a complete list of the wheels we sell in 17" that fit at our web site : Wheels http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AH8&...eels/index.jsp You will not get error codes by changing.

Any OEM E9x 17" or even 16" will fit fine.
