Talking Latest from Steve Dinan himself......

See http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/sho...5&postcount=41

Gustav is the admin for M5board and met with Dinan.

30-40 HP with LSD and 100 hp with turbos later...... I would bank on Dinan delivering here.

The thread on M5board was about what questions members had for Steve Dinan.

I had asked Gustav to ask about the 335 software.

So, all he said was +30-40WHP with their ECU Flash (for stock turbos) and ~ +100WHP with larger turbos???? Sorry, I'm a bit confused by his supposed answer?????

If the +30-40WHP is accurate, then I'd say most ppl looking for this kind of HP/TQ increase should opt for the possibly less expensive SSTT (which can be easily and quickly uninstalled/reinstalled) then.

Yes, this is from Gustav.....and within the boundries set out by Dinan in his whitepaper.

Also they seem to have found a fix for welded ring gear + pinion for the LSD.

Then, that JoshJ guy who posted his supposedly totally modded "Dinan 335i" timeslip on DragTimes.com should be shot as he's a complete fraud!

I'll at least take that LSD bit of news as good news

Don't care too much about that power gain though.

Ya for bigger turbo's purducing 100 more hp, I can only imagine what the price would be. Can it get up toward the 10k M3 supercharger? I don't think so, but it aint going to be cheap.

Why don't you? Go register on the DragTimes.com Forum like I did and add that to my thread OR at least add it to the comments on that douchbag's posting. Unlike you, I don't even go to that drag strip, but I did what needed to be done...for all of us!

I am confused by this thread. Dinan will do a flash only if you buy an LSD in like a package? Or they are offering LSD, 40hp flash, and later with new turbos higher gains?

No details yet but it would be very unlikely they would tie the LSD to the Flash.

So, I imagine, they will offer an ECU flash, a LSD seperately for the 335i and a "Stage 2" Turbo kit + SW.

Looks like on this picture it shows the stock 335i oil cooler. Next to it could be the new Dinan Oil Cooler?
