Poly's still flex. The delrins have been confirmed to work well with Defiv's partial lock down kit. And the difference in NVH between the two appears to be negligible

With what happen to your driveshaft I wouldn't hesitate to get the lockdown kit...I am installing mine as we speak!

It would be nice to have... honestly, it's too much money. That kit shouldn't be more than $300, it can't be more than $50 in materials.

You consider he might sell 30-40 of these kits to a very niche group of people/year...You can see the math, he's really not making a ton of money. The way I looked at it is if it saves my driveline, I am HAPPY to spend 700 dollars. After I broke one halfshaft the bill was around 700+ dollars for parts, labor and cleanup of all the grease that went everywhere + the tow and the inconvenience of being stuck on one of the busiest San Francisco streets. Not to mention how much more planted the car feels!

Anything? No, the diff needs to come out. To remove the diff you need to remove the exhaust and unbolt the driveshaft and axles from the diff. The subframe can stay up, no need to drop it. I think JoeC500 posted a nice pic in his thread recently.

I am doing a full DIY on the differential lockdown unit. Just waiting on my differential. The rest is complete.
