Few shots of my car!

I was a bit bored today and realised I've owned my car now for almost a year (how times flies!) and that I've never submitted any pics of her on here!

Only done a few subtle mods over the time, I think I might add a roof spoiler in the future, and I'm waiting delivery for the matching hood/trunk emblems (dispatched last week and havent received them yet!)

So here it is in the awesome quality of iPhone pictures, let me know your thoughts ;

So far my to do list is:

* Replace main thermostat
* Paint my wheel hubs - the rust on them has annoyed me since I got it but I've never got round to doing it
* Smoked repeaters are now on order per AdamC's suggestion above :P
* Possibly ACS style roof spoiler - but not too sure about this.
* I think I may get the alloys resprayed in a dark gunmetal or matte black colour once I'm bored of the silver
* I was also thinking about retrofitting paddle shifters
* Wheel spacers all round

But with the rear brakes, road tax, and MOT looming around the corner, I don't think I'll be doing most of these for a few months

Well if you get round to it before me let me know :P Thanks for the advice, but I changed the EGR stat last week end and it made some improvement, but it's still running around the 79-80 mark

The trim I've got was just the standard brushed aluminium but I wrapped it in 3M Di-Noc Carbon fiber wrap - I think I needed 1m x 1.2m to do the whole interior (Approx £50?) and I had quite a lot spare, but I'd recommend getting that amount if you haven't done it before for mistakes etc.

Every one who's been in my car never believes me when I said I did it, and I'm really glad I did chose to go with the carbon fiber wrap, contrasts with the cream really well I think.. (light in the 2nd shot is a bit weird for some reason)

That wrap looks amazing, I have just bought and the previous owner scratched the inside up, I wanted to do so,etching similar but wasn't sure how it would look.. Much impressed.. How long did it take you?!

Have you done it before or is that first time?

Yeah it was my first time! I think it took around 4 maybe 5 hours in total - but that was including being extra careful when working out how to get all the different bits of trim off without breaking them!

I'd say try to wrap the simpler bits (door trims) first to get a bit more experience -the ash tray covers and rear console were what I found to be the hardest so consider working your way up to them.

In hindsight I don't think I was heating the vinyl up enough, so I would definitely say not to be shy with your hairdryer! And another tip I read was to make sure you wrap everything in the same direction, else you'll have different patterns dotted around your car!

Also I never used the adhesion booster thing that was advised with the wrap - never caused any problems and saved me like £15 I think..

Subtle but clean! Liking the carbon wraps. I have a black coupe, currently with the same mv3 wheels. They are finished in dark gunmetal as stock. I think it looks pretty good.

Well the car's coolant temperature seems to take quite a while to get up to around 78-79 degrees and my MPG isn't too good until I get up to that temp. Plus I've read on here most other 6cyl diesels are around the 90-94 degrees mark so it should hopefully boost mine up to that temperature.

I've already got the part, I'm just waiting for a warm day to fit it

Gunmetal wheels would look good.

Front and rear spacers would also give the car a nice stance.

Cheers lads.

Lowered on H&R springs and Koni yellow dampers.

No need for spacers. Wheels are coming off and something special is going on shortly.

10.5" wheels on the rear
