I think that was one of CaptainInsano's early low boost runs where he got surprised by a nasty crosswind at 140mph and let off early. But by the end of the day, at full boost, his car was the fastest recorded E9x chassis BMW at the event. Faster than all the SC'd M3s, even the ESS VT750 car

Not sure about this particular race, maybe captaininsano can provide more details. Just FYI, this is the same one that trapped 163.6 mph on Sunday, so it was doing pretty well

I suspect probably because it was a cool race with two high powered BMWs. It was better than the rematch later in the day when the m3 lifted early in the race leaving the win for the 335. Sometimes losing by a bit is more exciting than winning by a mile

How much boost was in the single on this run?

It's awesome how much power the single puts out, bye bye m3.

Yeah that wasn't my best run. I didn't even look at the trap speed of that one. Wheelspin in 2nd and I let off early because I thought something was wrong with my steering.

Here's the video from the other end though:

I feel satisfied from my other runs

Cheers,
Pete

In the morning, we were being pretty conservative with the tune keeping boost at ~22psi/620whp. By afternoon, it was running ~24psi/650whp.

GT-Rs mainly. There was a Porsche trapping high 190s, as well as an RX-7 I believe. The Ford GTs didn't seem to come out in force this time, but I was only there Sunday. There was a new style Mustang beating a Ford GT a couple times.

What up Shiv. I'm pretty sure you guys could have pulled me even in the low boost setting as you can see Peter pulling starting at about 110 mph. At low boost you still have ~ 50 RWHP more than me.

On this run, it seems Peter spun at the initial hit. I didn't spin at all. I had great traction in either lane. Also, the 7 speed DCT is just a phenominal bit of engineering and rips of nano-second shifts so these things helped keep me close until Peter let off the gas.

Generally 155 to 156 if I didn't hit the fuel cut off or otherwise screw up
