Cheapest intercooler option HERE!
I was just out surfin' the web for some mandrel bent aluminum tubing and came across this intercooler find. I don't know how it performs, but it struck me as very similar to the Big Tom intercoolers and I know those have been a hit on here. So, without further ado, the specs are:
23"L x 12"H x 3 or 4 rows, your choice They state 3 rows will support up to 600hp and 4 rows 1000+hp. Prices are $135 and $189 respectively and I don't know if they charge for shipping. Web address is HERE. If anyone goes for this, feel free to post your findings up here and I can update the first post as necessary for future readers. |

You can probably make it work with silicone elbows and what not. The gains should be better than stock and give other name brand intercoolers a run for their money.
But one must expect quite a bit of modification and time to make it work. Time is money |

great if it's direct bolt on, anything else would require $$ spent to make it fit.

The inlet and outlet are going the wrong way. You can make it work, but there is not alot of room for the inlet and outlet, plus what holds it in? Too much Time and pain in the ass for me, but your doing it. I say dont try and re-invent the wheel. A used one can be had for $300-400. Good luck!

You're going to have to hack quite a bit to make that work with the inlets/outlets orientation. Get a closeup of the internal and external fin pack before committing to anything.
Our intercoolers start at $420, for the cost of the "custom" intercooler, piping, hardware & modifications involved, you'll have spent more than that on a worse performing longer routing solution vs a bolt on solution with resale value. |
