Where are all the E91 335i
As the title says, where are all the 335i Tourings in manual form? How many of them were produced?
Granted, I need to sell my car before looking for a nice E91 335i, but there seems little point advertising when there is only 1 car on Pistonheads, and 1 on Autotrader , and I would only really be interested in the PH car. I've even started looking to the dark side, the 330d!

NOOOO, not a soot chucker! LOL.
We've had this discussion before.. Manual 335i tourers are the rarest high end model IMO, there's about half a dozen or more on here, thats about all of them probably In 2009 I looked for one for 4 months without joy, so had to buy a new one. Still got it, still great allbeit with a few tweaks now... Last edited by doughboy; 04-18-2013 at 03:43 PM.. |

Are you sure? I will pay you £10,000 more than your asking price by cheque, all you have to do then is pay £2000 from the extra £10,000 to my shipping company and they will collect the car..........
Please provide your bank account details and pin number No? Well, it was worth a shot.

They told me I was mad ordering a manual, nobody wants manuals they said.
Same when I tried to trade in my old E90 330i manual, offered me 10 grand for it "cos nobody wants manuals". Put it in autotrader and sold it first day for nearly 15k. Loads of people after it, all desperate for a manual..... "nobody wants manuals sir" yeah right |

I had the same thing when looking for a 335i cab manual. There just weren't any available and on the rare occasion one did come up, they were poverty spec with no sat nav etc. Gave up after 6 months of looking and bought an auto. It seems no one wants to actually drive any more

Tis true, more people want auto's and manuals are worth quite a bit less on trade in. Obviously not on this board, but this is not a fair representation of most owners.
There are E91 335i about, there are a few on auto trader at the moment. There aren't many though. People just don't buy many estates any more (X series instead) and not that many people want that kind of fuel consumption with an estate. |

Yes, petrol 335 tourers are rare indeed. I've given-up looking and now considering Audi S4 Avant's.

Noticed this at a dealer I often look at, seems to have a lot of quality stock. |

Ha, mines silver, I chose that to look more dull and appeal less to theives when we lived in Manchester.
Now we've moved, I wish I had a better colour... low maintenance though, needs the privacy glass to contrast. |

JamesC,
I own an e91 msport manual 335i LCI BSM and black leather. Non idrive, well specc'd, Birds chassis, LSD and engine tweaks. I'm 2nd owner, FBMWSH, 6 months left of extended warranty + T&T. Car has 44k miles. I may be parting with it for the right price. PM me or give me a call 077385 01566 if you want to know more. Dave |

Looking at the alternatives, a good compromise could be the 330i.
Noticed this one for sale, obviously no spec there yet, but compared to the 335i which i like for sale, it seems to be the better choice. £2k cheaper, 3 years younger, LCI model, and from a trader rather than private. It does better mpg, tax is £275/year cheaper, and has less potential to go wrong. Do i really need that extra 30bhp? It seems to come at quite a premium, although i do think that particular 335i is overpriced.......but the turbos, i want turbos!!! I'm still not in a position to buy yet as i have to sell mine, but which would you go for from the following two?
