Give Rick Nelson at Unique Car Care in Wakefield a call. He will make your car look better than factory. Do a search online and you'll see the many transformations he's done.

Please do yourself a favor and go to Rick. There are so many detailers out there who will do more harm than good. If you don't want to screw around and want it done right the first time, UCC is your place.

From what I gather, getting your car done by Rick is going to cost $1,000+...

Is he really that expensive....$1K sounds a bit much? Anyone mind posting what they paid?

Rick is a great guy....give him a call and describe what you are looking to have done and I'm sure he could give you a "ball park" number. It also depends on the current condition of your paint.... |

I think it would be difficult to compare quotes as everyone's car will be in different conditions

I got in contact with him and got a fair quote for a 1 stage polish exterior detail. It's not extremely expensive. I'm probably gonna wait until mid-June to do it

Also, is there a forum rule or something against posting prices? No one ever seems to mention price...

I have no idea if there's a forum rule. I've noticed that too.. It's probably because people probably think the prices are individualized

Haddad Auto Detail in Westboro and Worcester does a great job. They will put the car on a lift so that they can really get good access to the lower parts of the car and the wheels.

There's a place on RT 9 right on the Wellesley Natick line. Westbound side of RT 9. I can't think of the name of it but they did a very nice detail on my friends E63 for very reasonable money. It's at the intersection where they just put the new CVS or Walgreens, whatever that is.

A GOOD paint correction/swirl removal/polish/wax/seal is not going to be less than $300, as it takes over 10 hours to do the entire exterior, sometimes even more. Got to pay to play. Also +1 for Driven Perfection

I am only looking to do the usual 2-3 stage buffing, clay bar, etc. Plus the car is half the size of e92. I have done 1 stage buffing myself once and it took me 30 minutes with machine and professional 3M wax. Unless you sand and repaint the whole car, I just dont see how it can take 10 hours. I've taken 30 min on a fender alone with a DA, and that was just a once over with compound
It can easily take a day to do paint correction on a vehicle |
