Do people not help people with data logs anymore? Why am I being ignored?

Why does no one ever actually take a look at data logs when I post them? Last night I posted some logs with some problems I am having. 138 views later, no answers, other than one guess about carbon.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=842024

Am I doing something wrong? My last thread in which I asked for help with logs got plenty of views, no answers. And that time I posted pictures and actual .txt files.

I've noticed on this forum has a lot of douche bags compared to a lot of other forums I've been on. But there are also a good amount of good guys willing to help.

This is just me, but I cannot stand going over logs that aren't data spreadsheets, it's just very jumbled and you can't get the same type of precision. Is there any way you can post the raw data values in a spreadsheet? I'd be happy to check that out if you can. FWIW 99% of the "please look at my datalog" questions that get answered are Cobb logs in the Cobb thread, why that is I have no idea.

I am seeing a wide spread on fuel trims between bank one and bank two.

Here is .txt. Version. I tried saving and attaching an .xml file- but it won't let me.

If you're that concerned you could send them to Cobb directly...

I am using procede. Sending logs there is hit or miss on getting a response.

In defense,

There are only a handful of guys that REALLY know what they are looking at. It's always best to send logs to your tuner first.

Your thread doesn't seem to be tuning related but mechanical.

Did you guys ever think that a vast amount of people are now on Cobb and have a hard time ready PROcede logs ? If you didnt notice when help request is for a Cobb data log you will see it turns into a book

In addition, if this is the case, posting the raw data file can help.

To be frank with you, you posted you're original thread on a Friday night when most members aren't on especially on the weekend, then started a new thread half a day later asking why no one is helping you. You'll have to give it time as most members are usually on here during the work days.

I hate reading the Procede logs and when I ran it I usually logged with my BT tool. Also your excel spreadsheet is confusing. Anyways as Jeff stated it's probably hardware related. When I ran E85 I had the exact same symptoms you have where 1st and 2nd were fine but had misfires in third and up. It turned out to be the injectors. Read the codes if it's misfires then I'd look at plugs, coils, then injectors in that order.

well that would be a good reason not to send them to cobb LOL. I sent Vishnu some logs a few weeks ago and got a response the next day. I was stunned! I did some logs this morning, and I posted one in the Cobb thread on here. I'll probably bounce it on over to Cobb also. I'm sure someone will check it out for you, just be patient!

Then maybe you need to upgrade and go get yourself a JB4 G5 and talk to Terry. 15 min tops you would have an answer!

I can't speak for Enrita, but that's what it appears to be to me. I don't see an obvious tuning issue here..

I'm not sure why you'd say that. I know people get used to reading what they see often, but the procede logs are the only system that logs each value in its own chart. I have a much harder time reading JB or Cobb logs because you often have many values against a single chart. I think the biggest issue with procede logs is that some people don't zoom properly or highlight the section of time properly.
