YAY rasp of doom WTF...

Ok I give up. Ive spent about 5k on fucking exhausts systems / parts, trying to get it sound good after i removed the primary cat. Its not possible. The car sounds like shit end of story.

Moral of the story = listen to me, if you dont want your car to sound like shit dont take off your Primary cat.

My car sounds liek a loud ass broken m3

Trust me on this one.:mad::mad::mad::mad:

This is my 5th exhaust system and counting... Im going back to stock.

Heres with 2ndary / resonator delete.

Video clip : IMO this is probably my most favorite, I think im going to take the hit in performance and go back to stock.

Zoomer exhaust : Had to be my 2nd if not very close to 1st favorite. I sold it... i wish I didnt.

my 3rd... magna flows

4th straight piped with quads no cats no resonators nothing.

My 5th... Esienmann (how ever you spell it) this is my most current exhaust.

I mean the car is fast but it sounds like shit LOL.

I dont know about completely going back to stock i think im going to keep my 2ndary cat and resonator on and just put the esienmann exhaust from the axle back on.

Light weight mods. I want to get the car to e46 m3 weight.

It would deadened the sound for sure. But I dont know if I wanna take the hit if performance loss.

Sherwin dont worry... once we get real DP's on your car is goin to sound SOOOOOO much better...

when i took all my cats out with the magnaflow straight through 2.5 inch oval mufflers it sounded great! i think its the flow of your current DP's because they have so many different size that it flows...

I dont know myself. The cats on the stock DP's are the restriction.

If I had to guess the 2 sets of cats primary and 2ndary + the resonator is maybe worth 10-20 rwhp.

Its not that hp is loss its just that without those things on the exhaust the turbos spool crazy fast.

lol that eisenmann sounds like ass. The quads werent so bad, but it had to be loud inside. The best sounding is your old resinator/2ndary cat delete through stock mufflers. If those stock mufflers didn't weigh so much, it wouldn't be a bad set up. I remember you didn't do too bad on the dyno with that set up back in the day. Again that was before the catless DPs. Are you going back to catted DPs?

Hahaha i know cat.

The quads droned like crazy.

If i get my hands on a stock exhaust im going to cut the axle back throw on the esienmann and keep the resonator and 2ndary cat, since my primary is deleted already.

That why i should reduce drone and not have that crappy rasp sound.... Hopefully
