I've been wanting to do this... but I think you will need to code out the bulb checks? I haven't been able to find a good reliable matching set color wise for interior and exterior LEDs... so I just didn't bother with it yet.

If you do it... let me know how it turns out.

I changed my interior lights to the led interior kit from high performance bulbs. Really simple and takes roughly 20min or so not a hard job at all.

There are NO bulb checks for interior lights - only exterior lights

No coding necessary, simply swap out the bulbs/modules

Another vote for the HPB LED kit

Ecs tuning.com $99 dollars, full interior kit. Not error codes, no problems whatsoever. Cheapest kit and the nicest kit in my opinion. Very bright white and lights up the car like daylight. Very easy installation, plenty of DIY guides.

I bought a bunch of white led bulbs separately from a chinese car parts store my buddy worked at for about $60 lol. Extremely simple. Pop the covers off, yank out the oem halogen bulbs, stick the led ones in, replace the cover. It's that easy. Took about 15-20 minutes to install everything, had the most trouble putting the dome light plastic covers back on. Everything works great though. No errors, and the lights fade in and out normally as if oem.

White led interior bulbs make it look so much classier and cleaner, especially at night, and on an AW car

OP, here's the DIY link: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=273231

+1 on HPB interior LED. Go with the upgraded dome LED for the extra $10 or whatever it is. Works great, easy install, and no codes. Great price too.

Took me 15 minutes to do all the lights except the dome lights, that will take some additional time that I currently don't have.
I got my lights from here, good service and customer service response after the fact as well.

+1. I've had the Ziza LED kit for over an year and haven't had a single issue. Installation took a few hours since I'm not so hands-on savvy but gave myself a pat on the back for doing it on my own.

as long as they are canbus bulbs they don't give out errors.

I bought mine from a reseller on here not the greatest experience... but the bulbs were good except for 4 of them which every time i turn them on they shut off. apparently according to the reseller there are different grades of canbus led's lol... never heard that until he told me but meh... it was just the map lights... don't even use them...

if your doing LED's and like it bright like it do... make sure and get the 24 led board... that alone made the swap well worth it.

I've always seen these advertised, but never understood the appeal. Is it really significantly different?

Prolly depends on how much the bit of yellow tint to the OEM bulbs bothers you...

I'm wondering if anyone makes a red LED kit. Go all night vision compatible.

Okay so it seems like hpb is a favorite with some tried and tested results. Anyone want to put together a group buy for this??? Links to official reseller?

All i found was this: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=713322

Does this also include glovebox light and footwell in matching white light?

Any recommendations for exterior led lights, side marker, lic plate, trunk, etc...

I too am looking to get in on an HPB interior LED kit, was considering ECS as well..

I'm also trying to find the best replacement for reverse lights (living in city with tinted windows makes night parking a pain) and side turn signals to delete the egg yolk look on my AW e92. Lookin for something clean!

No coding needed- just get a good kit

Mine have no coding whatsoever bud, and my LED lights stay lit, and have been for the last year and a half

If you insist on going onesies twosies and getting the LEDs you like separately, ensure they are canbus style LEDs.
