Anyone using Royal purple Ice Coolant?

I remember seeing a review on Royal Purple ice radiator coolant additive a few years back ...And how it made engine temperatures cooler in a Camaro when they added it to it... I'm just wondering if this would be good product for our vehicles?

A similar product, Redline WaterWetter, is incompatible with BMW OE coolant (which is G-48). It produces a brown sludge that can coat areas in the engine casting where coolant flows. (Ask me how I know)

Yes, these surfactant additives are science and can increase the heat carrying capacity of a marginal cooling system, but personally I wouldn't bother.

I have heard that Redline WaterWetter does that too. However, there are also many that have used it with no ill effect =(

I think you can use whatever you want in your vehicle, just know that it might or might not work, and that there is always a risk to putting in any sort of additives.

To OP, it also seems like the RP Ice Coolant is not as popular as Redline WaterWetter and Motul Mocool not only on e90post, but also other forums as well. Good Luck and have fun!!
