Ordered my E91 330d Weds eve and called today (to change spec) to be told that my car has been allocated a chassis number and is 'in production', so too late to change spec. Not in itself a problem as was only a minor thing anyway.

So was told the car is a week 49 build, due at dealer week 51. As this is getting very close to Christmas am interested to hear how long it actually takes to build the car and how long it then takes to get to UK dealer.

Also, anyone know where the E91 is actually built - strange to think that a load of bits will be my car in a few days !

E91 are only built in Munich plant

Takes around 9 hours to weld, 8 hours to paint, 9 hours to assemble
But production takes a few days due to built in delays and holdings

My 330d M sport E90 was scheduled for build week 49 and was built on the 2nd Dec. Collect it on Friday 23rd Dec, talk about cutting it fine!

Give your dealer a bell and they should be able to give you an update because it is all in their system.
