On the way home from work today I got the "engine oil at minimal level" yellow warning sign. I checked it later on and it's just to the left of the "MIN" sign of th dipstick.

How many quarts will I need to top up fully?

I'm assuming I lost some oil when I had my pressure line leak fixed about 6 weeks ago. I never looked at the level then.

Just had this discussion with the BMW service guy today on returning yesterday and he says that when you get to min, add 1 quart. If it gets there again, then add 1. He said that its simpler that way to not over fill the oil.
