Kw rear shocks longer than the other

I just received my kw v1's for my e90xi. I took everything out to make sure all the contents were there and notice that one of the rear shocks thread is longer than the other. I saw one post from a member also noticing this when he was installing them. Couldn't find anything else from searching. So did you guys notice this too? Has it been a problem or is it just a design thing?

Try compressing the shock and see if it comes back up and check around for any leaks.
