Another Oyster question

Hi Guys,

New here to the forum and back in the saddle again with a Bimmer (traded in the Benz for a 2011 328i Conv. with the Oyster/Black interior)

Question, I see lots of posts about the blue jeans stain but what about a yellowish stain? My car has a very faint (can really only see in sunlight) yellowish stain where your thighs and lower back would touch the seat.

Any idea what would have made those stains and which is the best to remove? Being that the car is brand new (to me) I'm nervous about putting anything into the leather.

I'm seeing a trend around the Leatherique products as well as the Zaino ones.

Also, is there any good wipes that can be kept in the car for a quick wipe down once a week or so? (i'm seeing anything ranging from Baby wipes to Armor-all).

Many thanks!
Mark

Difficult to identify a stain by its colour-

a) try cleaning with
1z Plastic Cleaner (Plastik-Reiniger) - an intensive, non-corrosive, non-acidic two-phase deep cleaner that is a concentrated deep cleaning detergent that removes stubborn grime, grease, scuff marks, stains, and soot /polish residue without harsh or abrasive cleaners. Apply with a terry cloth towel (to provide agitation)

b) it could be the urethane has been affected by UV fading (use finishing paper and re-new top coat
(Swisswax)

Thank you TOGWT, I'll give it a try. Will using a leather cleaner like Zaino Z-9 hurt anything or cause any damage?
