Anyone else production complete Oct 7?
My 2008 335xi coupe originally was scheduled for production complete on Oct 8, but then was apparently bumped up by a day to Oct 7 (yesterday). Called BMW NA this morning and they said it was on its way to the port. Anyone else on the same schedule?

So for you Oct 6 guys we might end up the same boat. Have you heard anything yet about when our cars might be arriving at Bremerhaven? I'm hoping for the next day or two. The person I spoke with at BMW NA said that I can expect delivery in about 3 weeks--I think that's optimistic but since I purchased from BMW of Manhattan it might be possible. The port is just a few miles away, after all...
Like everyone else in this forum, I find the wait to be unbearable. It's crippling, really. I don't really feel like doing anything productive this month |

Mine was complete also on the week of Oct .6. Its currently arrived at port and waiting for shipping vessel. By the way I live in Georgia. Yeah I dont think I want to work this month. I cant get my mind to focus on what I need to do. Its definitely crippling I dont even want to go work-out which is a daily routine. We have to come together and give each other support. hehe

For some odd reason, the people at the 800# are reluctant or unable to talk about the details of your order; they kept telling me to ask my dealer if I wanted to verify the details. You might have to just suck it up and give your dealer a call...I'm sure they're used to customers pinging them for updates all the time..
Btw GAMEOVR, which dealership did you use? At this point, for most of us whose cars were prod complete this past weekend, I guess the next step is to figure out exactly which boat(s) we're going to end up on. From reading all the forums it seems like west coast peeps get put on N Y K Line boats, whereas east coasters are put on Wallenius Wilhelmsen boats. Here's a link to a website that is supposed to show departure schedules from Bremerhaven. I'm not quite sure how to interpret the ETS and ETA cols. Anyone have any ideas? http://www.dbh.de/index.php?id=151&L...0071105&menu=% |

Yeah, I guess I'll just give them a call. I told my CA to do all this shit before it got sprayed, but hes a dick after you make an order... but before he'll suck you off just for the sale. I got a great deal and he gives me great deals, but is just busy I guess. This is my 5th BMW from them and I couldn't of been happier.. We shall see.. |

My car finished production on Oct 1st. I missed two vessels that departed on Oct 4th. One boat already already took off today and I didn't catch that one. There's another boat leaving today too, hopefully I can catch that one.

Do you think you missed them because it just takes that long to get to the port, or because they were full, or both?

I'm assuming, getting to the port took longer than expected (3-4 days). I heard some people getting to the port within 2 days. I'm not too sure if i missed the first boat or not. I called BMW NA this morning and they still had a status of waiting for a vessel. Maybe my car is on the first vessel that departed this morning and BMW system is slow to update.

I actually spoke to a representative. They usually have an up to date status then the OC and automated system.

Here's the WW ship schedule: http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppSche...pe=generatePDF
Hoping to catch Otello (wishful thinking??), which would arrive in NYC on or around Oct 25th. |

GAMEOVR, have you found out whether your car has made it onto a particular boat yet?
