Vacuum Question ?!
Hey guys !!
I don't know if this topic has been covered yet (i know i've seen vacuum threads for HOUSEHOLD appliances), but which vacuum do you guys use for your CARS? ![]() i've been carrying around the normal big vacuum to clean my car, but it's a hassle adjusting and dragging that thing around. I've been searching for a vacuum that is smaller and more convenient, but strong enough to still pick up the furs (yes i have puppies, and yes i do smoke in the car so the ashes land everywhere sometimes) and get the job done. I'm hoping to find something good for maybe around $100. ![]() Anyways thanks for looking !! ![]() PS is anyone getting the DROID MAXX?? Or Just waiting for the Iphone 5s?! ![]() |

4/5 stars and it seems like a few people aren't too happy about the quality of the product.. Thank you i'll keep that in mind but for that price maybe it's better if i invest in dyson.. But then again $400 for vacuum is ![]() haha |

I bought a handheld rechargeable Dyson. That thing is the biggest POS ever! It lasts about 7 minutes on the charge, sometimes it doesn't even recharge overnight. You can't maneuver it by the seats. It smells even with new filters. Biggest waste of $. ![]()

Weird, mine has none of those problems. I mean yea the battery life kind of sucks, but it's a cordless vacuum that runs at pretty high output, so it's to be expected.

If you just want something cheap get a regular old shop vac. You can get those at Homedepot for like $50 and they suck like a mofo. That's what I used before I got this one, but I just didn't care for having to take it out, plug it in, maneuver it around the cars etc. |

I use an Electrolux sanitare commercial canister vac, it's pretty compact and sucks hard (in a good way). I think it was around $120 or so on Amazon...would definitely recommend.

Since I don't have a garage or an outlet to easily plug a vacuum into, I have one of these that works just fine:
![]() It was around $30 at Autozone.

Seriously! Since when did shop-vacs get exiled out of the garage?

I use a small Craftsman wet/dry vac similar to this one:

Metro Vac N'Blo is the best for auto use. I have seen it used at several dealers. It will pick out pet hair and about anything else. But it is very loud.

I just use the vacuum line from the brakes
If it doesn't suck enough, I just rev the engine to roughly 2500rpm Don't forget to change to filter after your are done
