Thanks guys...I've found a few good reviews about bc.moto I think I'll go with them

Being a newbie...trying to find some DIY prep/install guides just to boost my confidence about it before I go ahead with it

It's pretty easy really. Make sure the area is well cleaned before you start. I'd do it the day before so you don't have to wait for it to dry. Then the next day you can give a quick wipe with alcohol wipes, prime it, then stick it. I'd do it soonish as these things bond better in warm weather I had to use a hair dryer when I did it around jan :P

There are loads of guides anyway , just search the spoiler thread.

I have had a spoiler for my e90 from this person, the colour match (space grey) was spot on and the delivery was fast as well.

Now I'm contemplating whether to go for those or a CSL style bootlid spoiler for about £150.

Other then Black Gloss Performance grilles I haven't got anything else done to the car yet, would a CSL spoiler look out of place without other aggressive mods?

IMO the CSL lid looks crap on the E9x. You need a whole lot of other mods to pull that off, and even then, the E92 just looks too long for that boot lid.

On this car it looks great, it was designed around this car, by people who know how to design cars.

On this car it looks awful, because the boot lid isn't designed for this car, it is just stuck on, like an M badges on 320d etc..., by people who think that that boot lid is what makes their car look sportier. The curvature of the car is just wrong for this spoiler.

There are plenty on google (https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=e92+m3+csl+trunk)

One of the best I found for an E9x era is this one, which is more subtle looking than many. But it still isn't right because the entire rear end doesn't fit this spoiler

CSL is too much for me too... as above, it just doesn't work with the lines of the E92?

The M3 lip spoiler works on both modified and non modified perfectly IMO

Here's mine...
