Just letting those who don't know that Dinan has a 20% off sale on free flow and mid exhausts right now. I just had mine delivered for $1,272 to Oregon! It lasts through the end of this month.

Not at all, possibly if not installed properly though. My friend just had the same setup installed and no drone whatsoever...when you get on the gas though it sounds throatier and more refined than the PE. Very clean sound...I'm having a Dinan certified BMW dealership install it. Surprisingly, the install is $180 whereas my close family friends Bavarian shop who has a rate of $90 an hour said it was a 2 1/2-3 hour install...Dinan says 1 1/2 hours. If you get it, have a certified Dinan dealership install it.

Lol you won't find a Dinan exhaust for half that...there's a possibility but it's rare.

It depends. I've heard that some do and some don't. I have a friend who has it and it has a small amount of drone and another that has none.

It seems that drone is related to the presence of secondary cats, the resonator, the x-pipe, and lastly the install itself. It's also subjective.

Congrats on the setup. Dinan has NO DRONE at all.
I have driven and rode in many modified cars and I love the way their exhaust sound. Not too loud and if you match it up with a good center section exhaust it just enhances it even more
