Halo/Angel eyes

Ok I've just bought an E90... I want halo/angel eyes. May be a stupid question but do I buy new headlights? Is it something behind the headlight?

You will either need lci halogen headlights or pre lci xenons if you want angel eyes.

It's a full headlight replacement..

I strongly advise replacing with Oem parts.

I would only do OEM. How do I know which to go for or is it personal preference?

Lci halogen is Plug and play and cheaper..

But xenon is a better light! Just more involved..

Check out my thread on the parts list to fit xenons..

Ebay is your best bet mate.

If you are upgrading... definitely hold out for Xenons as the improvement in output and aesthetics is great

Alex, how much would you say a Pre-LCI xenon retrofit would cost? Just like OP, i'm on the hunt for a pair of Angel Eye headlights and have acquired a pair of LCI halogens but i'm not sure if i would be satisfied with the light output from them.

For OP, here is a link to a pair of LCI halogens which are plug and play:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-BM...item3a84290915

(A little overpriced though in this case)

Not sure if it's the same on the E90 but on the E92\E93 Pre LCI Xenons give you angel eyes of a sort but they are yellow and pretty dim. If you want the full on bright white LED angel eye effect you need to get LCI Xenons.
