They totally suck - been like 15 months since the phone came out - they are already a generation behind as the 5S is out - if Apple had changed any little thing on the 5S, they would have a working snap in adapter for 2 generations (I guess they still don't). I stopped wasting my money on those things after my iphone 4 and just threw in a blackberry music gateway and stream everything bluetooth.

I got my iphone 5 the day it came out and got accessories that worked with the lightning connector within 2 months of it being released - why does it take bmw a year and a half to figure out how to mold some plastic and stick a new connector on it?? They probably just don't want to pay apple the licensing royalties for the lightning connector!

At least they support Apple. My car came with the useless BMW App that doen't work wit Android ab phone calls to BMWNA says they aren't doing anything. I want my money back and they said go to dealer.

I would've gotten an android bud but I have so much invested in the Apple Store at this point that there's just no point...

Maybe they halted production when Apple tried to shove SIRI down there throats and charge for it.. They must've replied" we've invested greatly in iDrive.... Yadda yadda" FU we'll keep our shit.. Lol At the end of the day; business on the backend screws all of us..

Well, the good news is it's already out in the UK, and if it isn't already, it should be by the first or second week in October- so we will definitely see it.

The question is, will we see it before Apple makes their next incarnation of iPhone that will totally not fit the snap in

Same here, Ipad, 3 Iphones, 2 Ipods, apple TV cables etc..... for what i have invested i could have got a M3 instead of my 335...... Grrrrr

I really don't like the idea of this snap in adapter...we would have to remove our phone cover everytime we wanted to snap it in right?

I just want the BMW y cable with the lightning connector

at the rate their (apple) going, don't hold your breath.. Watch the lightning .2 port come out in 3 months.
