For some reason it seems that the interior trunk release on my E90 is dead.
The trunk button on the key fob works and the release button on the trunk works. I can't seem to figure out why the interior release doesn't work (and yes the trunk lock inside the glove box is off). I have tried pushing the button for several seconds but no luck. I also checked every single fuse in the fuse box and they all seem fine. Does anyone know what could be causing this or exactly what fuse is responsible for the interior trunk release? I took it to VOB BMW and they basically told me there is no problem. I didn't feel like fighting with them so I tried to find out what the problem was myself. As my last resort I thought someone here in the posts can shed some light on what might be the issue.
