Got rear ended...what are my options
I got rear ended last week and am getting an estimate this week from a body shop. I want to change the rear to be OEM M sport. My front bumper also suffered some damage.
What are my options for replacement as far as OEM is concerned from the body shop? I think going to a M sport front bumper is a problem from what I remember when I spoke to a BMW dealership a while back. Am I am able to get a M sport bumper as a simple replacement for the rear? 2009 335i w/sport package and parking sensors.

Are you lci? If so just get the Msport front it should be direct fit. If pre lci you might wanna get upgraded to lci or just get m3 rep bumper. I got the m3 rep on my car for 350 shipped basically perfect fitment

I think you need to ask your insurance adjuster and the body shop your questions. I can offer that many insurance companies don't offer OEM replacement parts unless your policy is specifically stated to do so. So that's one thing that may play into the equation, at least as far as the price you may have to pay, if any.
Sorry to hear of your loss. I hope you aren't suffering any lingering affects from the collision. All the best.

you should be able to just bolt up an msport rear without issue. maybe look to get just the money from the INS after you get an estimate. then you can do whatever you'd like

It is an LCI. Do you have any pics of what the Msport front looks like on the LCI?

I went to my dealership a month or so ago and that my car didn't have the M package from the factory they said the msport front bumper is difficult to install because it is essentially not plug n play...anyone have any knowledge on this?
