Turn signal not making normal clicking noise.

I'm not sure what happened but my turn signal just stopped making a clicking noise. For a little bit the noise would come back on and off, but now isn't making a noise at all. Anyone know why this would happen?

I have no idea but I have to say that definitely goes up there on the list of oddest issues I've ever heard of...
