4th gear timing issue

I'm tuned with cobbv2 6AT trans with alpine flash........why is my timing in 4th gear not up in the range as it was in 3rd gear?

Here is the 3-4 gear datalog

DME is IJCOS

Here is another datalog to show my 4th gear timing issue.
http://www.datazap.me/u/msport335/pt...v3-0?2-9-19-22

Any idea what could be causing this?

I understand the post shift timing drop with the 6at but shouldn't timing reach its requested point as it has in 3rd gear?

IJEOS sucks and flatlines timing. I'm hoping a protune can get around it.

Mine is pro tuned by PTF. Power delivery is great , just post shift timing is horrible.

Well damn. Is it something about how the DME attempts to limit torque post shift? Wedge was working on that I believe. Or more an MCM issue?

I would prefer to stack with a PROcede to control boost if necessary, but if I stack i lose so much control on the data logging side. Or an MSD-80? I'd rather go that route. Both the MSD81 and TCU are extremely frustrating at times

I may have to do just that, i'm pretty intent on the DME handling everything on the tuning side.

Thanks for the advice

This just affects the 6AT guys? I have a PTF Pro tune, MSD81 DME and IJEOS and don't experience this flatline timing issues.

I have GT1 / DIS and I'm working on a solution DIY to allow people to sync the CAS with a used MSD80.

Yes. I have I8A0S with Alpina and it isn't as bad as most that I have seen.

Yes it's a 6AT issue, specifically IJEOS seems to flatline timing the worst. Consider yourself lucky if you don't have that issue. I'm hoping PTF can get a flash only workaround, no luck so far.

I知 getting conflicting info on the veracity of throwing an MSD80 in an MSD81 native car. @Enrita has done it/ is doing it, but others have said not possible. What say you? PS I値l respond to your PM after work, I壇 love to try your flash save for a fueling caveat we値l discuss. Thanks for the help, as always.

Well, considering you can upgrade an MSD80 car to MSD81, I see no reason that you can't take an MSD81 car and make it an MSD80 car. But I want to see if I can sync the CAS and DME with GT1 before I try it on a newer car.

If your car came with MSD81 from the factory you cannot flash to an MSD80 ROM or retrofit an MSD80 DME.

What you can do is stack a piggy for boost control and run the 6AT low load backend flash. If you want flash only on MSD81 you'll be short 35-40 whp when you flatline

you need to run a BMS base flash map that you load with cobb and jb4 G5 iso on top of it.
