M-tech e92 side skirts: possibly FS, and also where to paint?

I have a brand new pair of E92 M-tech skirts, that I might sell for exactly what I paid for them which is $410. The reason I might sell is because several body shops are wanting to charge me $500 to paint them!?!?!? Is this normal? it just seems really steep, just to paint side skirts, especially since it is more than the actual cost of the skirts!

I am in Orange county/ Rancho Cucamonga. Does Longtran have a direct phone number, or is it all through PM?

$500 is too much. Should be more like $300 or so.

PM him.

that's pretty expensive for paint. Should be a $200-$300 paint job. Also, very expensive for the side skirts; the dealer I got my m3 spoiler from quoted me $248.50 unpainted for the side skirts...

Mtech e92 pieces are somewhat difficult to get in the US. M3 pieces may be easier to get from a willing dealer...I dunno. But currently, Mtech pieces come from Canada...so, cost is inflated due to import cost, and shipping. Once Mtech kit is avail easily in US...I am sure prices will be more comparable to what you are seeing.

Long said they would be $300 to paint, so I am going to keep them, since that is by far the lowest price I have recieved and is affordable

i fell 4 ya, ny is the same shit w/ painters, a lot of them are terrible too...

i found a guy whos been painting my stuff for a while now, charged me 75$ to paint my oem add on lip,
this is one of the reasons i am buying a lot of aftermarket stuff, the paint is so cheap!
good luck and keep them till u can find a good deal!

no i may wait to see how the m3 side style skirts will look
