Having fog inside only 1 headlight after washing?

I have aftermarket headlights that were installed couple of days ago, yesterday i went to wash my car, i only washed it with a hose to get some dirt of it.
the temperature outside is fine ~25C and there was no rain or anything.
i also washed both headlights from the outside and then after i finished i noticed that one of them became foggy inside, i dident know why it happened but i left it out so maybe it will disappear but today i came after almost 24 hours and still one headlight has fog inside it and the other one clear as crystal.

can anyone help me? is there anything wrong with my headlight? thanks!

Thankyou, eventually what i did was to remove the high beam bulb and fan it from the inside, it made it disappear.

but my main question is how come only one headlight had become foggy when the conditions were identical?

thanks!!

It may not be the seal on the headlight itself, but one of the seals for the bulbs. Just keep an eye on it. Maybe when you put the high beam bulb back in the rubber sat better and will keep it sealed

Is this OEM headlights?
It's can happened to "made in china" or if you open the head before.. there is somewhere the hole and your engine worm and outside temperature is cold so it's something like condensation. Nothing to worry really.
Mine is OEM and I have HID eyes.. when I wash my car it's happened quite often. But after 10-20 min after drive they become OK just like new.. So stay calm

Did you get them from Umnitza? I'm ordering a set of Depo's with dual mini projectors and Orion V4's from them today or tomorrow.

Just a heads up--quite a few people have had significant problems with the retrofitter that Umnitza contracts to do their headlights.

The comany that does the retrofits is pretty shady, and they have chosen to call themselves LightWurkz, piggybacking off of the reputation and quality of another retrofitter LightWerkz. The projectors were the bargain-bin/bottom-quality versions of what Umnitza claimed was being installed, and the horizontal aim/cutoff alignment was atrocious.

You may want to consider paying a little more for a proper retrofitter to do it for you (check out the REAL experts in the game here and over at HIDPlanet).

You could also try doing it yourself if you're up for a challenge, but I would be remiss if I didn't tell you about the poor experiences several e90posters/other enthusiasts have had w/Umnitza and their retrofitters.

Speaking from first hand experience you will be sorry for buying from Umnitza. They are the worst of the worst when it comes to headlights, they will leak, the cutoff is horrible, the quality is non existent. I have been to their shop and it looks like a place in a third world nation.
