INPA Transmission Reset: stuck at this step
Hello, I am stuck at the step as indicated by the picture. I am unsure on how to proceed/what option to select.
I would greatly appreciate any advice regarding this. Thank you. |

If you have all the right daten files, correct cable, proper comm port settings etc etc the steps to reset TCU adaptations in INPA should be:
F9 E90 Transmission Gearbox Control module GS19 F6 Activate F3 Reset adaption values Where in this process did that screen come up? edit: also do you have the Alpina flash or OEM? |

Hi,
Sorry for my late reply, I've been away. The above screenshot appears upon selecting: Gearbox Control module GS19. I'm running OEM, although I did update to Alpina at one time, but then reverted back. Quote:

Note: lot of Daten file libraries did not have the newer GS19 files, but did have the Alpina TCU file, so you could flash for example Alpina and it would work fine but then you'd not be allowed to reset adaptations in INPA as it would not recognize your TCU config. There is a thread here in the N54 section on this, and on the other boards. Search on GS19. If this is not it I don't know what to tell you. |

I downloada gs19.ipo file to do my reset as I have the alpina and it wouldnt work so now it does but I got this message:
"nicht zusammenpassende versionen fehlfunktion ist moglich" which translated says "Mismatched versions malfunction is possible" It does go to the menu that has "ansteuern" F6 which means "control" then I select that. then I select F1 "steuern lernfunktionen zurucksetzen" which means reset control learning. Then I select JA for yes. Then it says.... "steuern lernfunktionen zurucksetzen" which translates to "Educational features have been reset" then I hit ok. I do not hear any noises tho Does this mean it worked? I thought I would hear clicks or something.

There are reset jobs/functions in Tool32 that I find is more reliable. Just be prepared to follow the proper "re-learning" procedures afterwards.
