325i Question

Most of you are going to think this is a dumb question but as they say the only dumb question is the one you dont ask
I have a 2006 (03-2006) 325i. I need to order replacement Halo lights and was thinking about an upgrade.
My question is:
The forums talk about E90, E92, E93 and Pre LCI and LCI halogens.
Im pretty sure a 2006 325i 4 door is considered a E90 but I would like some clarification of what makes up the 3 models and if I have Pre LCI or not.
Any help /clarification would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

E90 is Sedan
E91 is Touring
E92 is Coupe
E93 is Convertible.

E90 pre-lci is from year 2005-2008.

E90 Lci is 2009-2012.

Then there is M-sport/ M-tech version of those.

Your car is E90 Pre-lci. Are you planning to change the headlights or just the bulbs? If you want new headlights i would recommend getting LCI Halogens that way you get angel eyes. Like this http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=253268

Sorry, didnt see your entire reply.... I was looking at just replacing the burnt out Halo (AE) light and figured I would upgrade while I was at it. My car has the BMW Dynamic XENON D1S F56mm projectors and i am ok with those. What are your thoughts on the:

[QUOTE=LuxAngelEyes;15273576]The reason for this is because the stock bulb uses a single filament while the LUX H8 V4 used 8 LED's that area ll slightly farther apart. As the light hits the reflector it has a slightly different focal point then the stock filament

So your car has xenon lights and your angel eye is burnt out. I don't know anything about those LUX, but i'm sure google will give you more info.

According to this it wont fit to E90 pre-lci. http://luxangeleyes.com/products/lux-h8-v4

These are for pre-lci http://luxangeleyes.com/products/lux-e90

I use some ebay 30w led angel eyes on my Pre-lci E90.

LCI= Life cycle impulse. Basically fancy name for facelift.

Thanks for the info! It looks like I will have to pull the wheel to see if I have the H8 or H11 since I have an aftermarket wheel package I cant just turn the wheel and remove the screws on the cover.
