Help, I'm confused with wheel fitment.
I have an 08 E90, I'm looking at wheels and tires. I'm going with 18s and I don't know what size I can fit on the back. I'm planning on putting on the fx silverline coilovers when I put wheels on as well and the fenders will be rolled.
What is the recommended wheel width with 18s? I don't plan on lowering the car anymore then 1/2 inch to 1 inch at most. I'm not a big stance guy, but I do like a car that has a nice, moderately aggressive stance. I'm looking at running Forgestar f14s. I know this has been beat on the head but I've read and read and read some more and I'm just confused right now. I don't want something super aggressive where I have to worry about rubbing all the time. I'm just so stuck, specially since I'm not familiar with offsets and so on and I don't want to pull the trigger on anything just to find out that I have to do more to fit my wheels and tires. |

18x9 ET35 18x10 ET38 w/ 235/40/18 265/35/18 is the recommend size for your E90 without any rubbing issues. E90 Pre-LCI chassis can fit wider set up. It depends how aggressive you want to go.

9et30 255/30/19 11et40-45 295/25/19 I'm pretty sure 11 et45 will clear the rear strut, but you should make sure. |

Can someone explain to me what other options there are other then rolling my fenders say if later on I wanted to fit a 305? I see things about shaving the fenders, rolling fenders, etc. I don't want to do a wide body kit and I'm not about having my tires stretched, maybe just some, but not a lot.
I also need a shop in the south Carolina (columbia area), Georgia area (atl, close to) |

For an easy fitment, with no modification, an 8.5 ET35/9.5 ET33 will fit perfectly. If you want something more aggressive in the rear, you can always opt for an ET22, but that may require modification to the fenders.

Yes you can do 9.5/11 setup. just don't think it is possible with 305. Here is one example of 18x9.5 et22 225/40/18 and 18x11 et25 265/35/18 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=602508 Im running 18x9.5 et22 and 18x10.5 et15 setup.

I think 295 or possibly a 305 would work on a 11" wheel with high enough offsets.
Robc1976 has a 285/25/20 on a 10" wheel with spacers. I'm not sure what his offsets are but 285 on a 10" wheel is about the same as 305 on a 11" wheel. How much clearance is on the inside is what you need to know. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=814434 |
