e90 Mtech install

for all those that have installed the m tech kit on the e90...

where do those little extra fins we had to buy go? also the fender liner for the kit doesn't come with oil cooler cut out. do i just cut it out of the one that comes with the kit or do i have to buy one for 335 with oil cooler?

Thank you!

I'd like to know this too. Is there a separate part number for cars equipped with oil cooler?

You have to get these parts extra to the M kit for an e90 335i with an oil cooler....

51-11-8-044-638 Support
51-74-8-044-594 Air duct
51-12-8-043-239 Rear diffuser
51-71-8-044-575 Muffler heat shield
51-71-8-044-576 Muffler heat shield

my body shop was able to stick with the original fender liner for the side with the oil cooler.

Do you know what the support is for or what it looks like?

when you buy the aero kit you'll get two support pieces like this that fit behind the vents and fogs. The 335i support that you'll swap out on the passenger side has a cut out for filter.

Can the headlight washer covers from the original bumper be re-used?

Oh, I think you are referring to the cutout for the oilcooler.

Off topic, but do you have a good shot of the front of your car with the Vorsetiner hood and lip. I am getting the same setup but want to get the lip molded.
