Recommendations for Clear bra shop

Any recommendations for a shop in San Jose, CA (95117) and surrounding area within 40 miles for getting a clear bra put on to my front new MTech bumper?

I know there is Mr. Tint but they are quite expensive so wanting to explore my options.

I've been interested in this too. I was going to do it last November when I purchased my e92. However, I realized my aftermarket lip needs to be repainted (or get a CF lip) before I would get the clear bra.

I browsed Yelp and the shop that caught my attention with multiple positive feedback reviews is AutoProFilms Clear Bra in Belmont.

Only thing I can recommend with this shop or any other you look into is an advice I was given a long time ago about getting a car painted.

Before hearing the prices or looking/hearing for reviews, you need to ask if you can see a car they are currently working on. It'll give you a chance to see how their work in progress is over pictures or someone that had a good experience.

Lastly, make sure it includes a lot of protection in the following areas:
  • Front bumper
  • Headlights
  • Fenders
  • Partial hood
  • Rear view mirrors

I called another shop locally (I can't remember name), but they were offering all that for under $800.

Keep us posted!

Thanks for the info bud! I am just looking to get my front bumper done as that is the one I have got new recently. The hood, etc. already has chips on it lol so won't be doing that now.

checked with Mr. Tint and they are charging $350 for the entire bumper and their work is good from what I have seen. I have tints done from them multiple times.

However, I feel that $350 is a bit steep just for the bumper. I will give autopro a call and see what their prices are.

I'm stuck at work working on formulas

Can you do me a favor and ask how much also for a full clear bra install?

I do clear bra in Sonoma county and $350 is what we charge for just a front bumper. If your headlights haven't started to oxidize yet due to weather in the area I would recommend the headlights also. It will save them

I believe AutoPro is run by Jeremy, who also owns Invisiguard Clear Bra.

I had him do my 335i a couple of years ago and I have no complaints. Everything looks great. He even came to my place to do it.

If anyone is near SoCal, I would recommend going to SD Wrap. You can shoot me an email if interested
