What Are These, Scratches?

With the roads finally dry, I was at least able to take my super dirty car through a touch-less that I've used many times before.

Upon review at home, I noticed these up and down "scratches" on the car.
Funny thing is they're identical on each side. I poked at the right side and little specks were able to come off. I don't think its from the touch-less, as I haven't had a problem with it before and I don't know what this is exactly. Anybody know?

I just bought a PC7424XP last month, so maybe this will be my first project?

Called swirls and they basically occur from anything in the air. Particles debris that hits your car and when its wiped down if your not careful, it will etch your paint. Literally happens on every car no matter what you do...just got to detail it to get them out

Looks like someone is parking too close and opening their door on yours.

Dont use that bullshit. Dr.ColorChip is the only way to go. 10000000000000000000000000000000x better than that OEM stuff.

I've used it on 3 vehicles.

EDIT:
After looking at it closer, you can cut those out.

That's what I hope. It almost seems like it's on top, kinda.

I don't really know when it got there. Probably just didn't see it until it was clean.

So ive been detailing for a long time now and I found the tried a true trick will tell you if its buffable:

run your finger nail parallel to the scratch and if it gets "stuck" or "hung up" then it went through the clear and it will not buff out.

Oh lol...my bad, sounds like what other people are saying I would agree with, door hitting yours, or someone brushed up against your car with something. possibly even keyed.
