yeah it would be amazing and it would also never happen because it would force them to put it too close in price to the R8... Audi is not stupid, but Americans are... why would any American spend 110,000 on an R8 when they can get an RS5 with a V10 for $85,000.... look at the RS4's ridiculous price, with the RS5 having a Gallardo V10, it will be at least $85K. Audi is seriously so pathetic at this point...

Well I think that is possible but there has been some leaks of info that say a few things:

- the engine will be smaller than the RS4s
- forced induction might be used

And with the new 5.0 V10TFSi in the new RS6, that makes me think perhaps 0we could see a brand new 4.0TFSi in the RS5. Do the math and you'll see that the power and torque numbers are simply amazing and we know that the RS6 manages to achieve a lot more torque and over big rev range, so what does that say for this possible engine?

To be honest, I think judging by the S5 and other Audi models, we can see Audi will make the RS5 do something which the RS4 done when it came out - suprise people. We know that Audi arent going to release some 2nd best rush job RS5

Oh yeah and about the V10, it wont happen
