Want to retrofit BT in my 07 e92 with nav and voice command
Was wondering what the best way would be to go.
I have a 13th gen BMW ibus ULF (but I saw someplace that it will work in MOSt systems). 2008 TCU from my car that has voice commands and I think just needs cooded and maybe a BT antenna. Not sure about that MULF and if it adds bluetooth, but knows it has something to do with it and USB audio. CIC retrofit, does that have build in bluetooth or does it pair with MULF and combox for ipod artist art, web and etc I would really like to just resell the ULF and TCU and add that to the cost of CIC retrofit package. Could someone please help me get this straight. Thanks |

I was also wondering the same as far as the mulf2 with a ccc or cic..
Does the ccc use the mulf2 svs as a seperste module for bluetooth, voice commands, and usb Does the cic have these things built in or do you still use the mulf2? Or is that what the newer combox is for? What did the first cic systems with usb, bluetooth, and VC have in the trunk as far as extra modules? |

If you have VC, you obviously have a mic and most likely prewired for phone. Do a VIN check for options. All you need to do is add a BT antenna, switch around a few wires (one directly on the MULF and on the mic connector behind the glovebox, on the right of the fusebox. Code and you're done. There could be a chance that your mic connector is behind the radio and not next to the fusebox (mine was like that). A quick check of what wires are on that connector will tell you. Link to DIY. If your mic connector is behind the glovebox, check out my short explanation on post #238. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...light=wrichiex This is such a straight forward diy and wish I did this a lot sooner. Good luck
