Front Heating System
My heating system has been acting a bit weird lately. it only blows out cold air but the back heater works as normal. Also, my center console gets quite hot and it feels like the heat is actually coming from there intead. Lately, i've had to switch it off entirely as im worried it could damage something.
Any ideas what might have caused this and how to fix?

Pop the gearshift gaiter and have a look where the heat is. There is a plastic bung on the top of the heat transfer tube that is likely missing or dislodged. Hopefully the bung is lying to one side of the tube.
You may need to pull the top off the console to do this next bit as it's a bit of a ballucks to reinstall. It'll fix that problem for you tho. I must say, the extra heat on my knee in the colder mornings was nice but it could get very hot ... |

Ah, that could be it. My friend did some work extending a usb cable under there so perhaps he did pull it out/dislodge it.
Thanks.
