Some people damaged their engines with Vishnu? I've never heard of this, where are you getting this info from
I have the Vishnu PROCede and LOVE IT. Have had it for over 5 months now and it's great.

Everyday you hear about someone losing their warranty? Where have I been? As far as I know there have been one or two guys that were stupid enough to leave the thing in there vehicles when they took it to the stealership.

i've been in this site for about 3 days really, but i joined like 11 months ago, i got my car 3 days ago, is it 100% safe to get it? m3killers engine is on the verge of being blown, and i met this guy yesterday his wholehood was burned, he told me that has engine damage and all his cylinders are messed up, due to a chip he added, but he didnt name the chip, he didnt even know anything about it, but he also said he had about 400hp with just the chip, so im guessing vishnu, wat u guys think?

Is that guy with the burnt hood and cylinders on this forum? I'm interested in finding out what happened. By the way M3killer was the one that left his Procede in the car when the BMW mechanics inspected it. His fault.

All ECU tuning solutions carry the same risk factors. No ECU piggyback has been shown to damage an engine to date. The box with most R&D behind it is arguably the PROcede, and it's also the most user-tunable with the release of V2. The other solutions produce similar power gains at a lower cost.
If you manage the risks by running the best fuel (at least 93 octane), remove the box for any dealer service visits, and aren't tracking the car every day, you should be looking at a relatively safe way to boost the performance of the car significantly - using any of the available tuning boxes. The bottom line is that you have to decide if you're willing to accept the risks associated with modding. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!

The simple addage rings true, you have to pay to play. If reliability and warranty voidance worries will keep you up at night, don't mod. |

I mean no disrespect here but after reading both of the threads you started I don't think a chip or this car is for you. Sell the car and buy a Smart..... you seem too much of a wuss to drive a 335. Good luck.

Those who got caught having 335 chipped are just careless. I never heard anyone who properly uninstalled the chip before drop-in in dealer got caught. If you doubt the chip to work well in your engine then don't buy it, but if you still want it, then keep lurking here. There are many infos, reviews, and complains that you can read so you get the idea what's the chip about, how people really enjoy it and ensure yourself whether to get one or not.
Note: 335 is one hell of a car and a stock 335 is already fast. Congrat on the new car

The stock 335i is still faster than 95% of the cars on the road. You can improve that a lot simply by installing a mild tune (and simple to remove) like the SSTT. You can also do things that won't void your warranty and help you in a short light-to-light situation like swapping the stock runflats for something sticky like the PS2s which will let you launch harder... Good luck!

Also please take pics and show us the burnt hood of the car with the procede. If you truly believe what your saying is the truth why would you even ask if the procede is "100% Safe"....Supposedly you know people who’s warranty is voided "everyday". You know a guy who burnt his "wholehood and his cylinders were all messed up" and yet you still ask if the procede is 100% safe.

You will hate yourself for every day that passed that you went without a PROcede in your car.

Some facts:
- PROcede V2 is the best tune available for the 335i ( map v2.0.2 ) - PROcede is the best tested tune available - No blown engines or other defects ( if you have a faulty HPFP PROcede could bring it to light ) - No warranty voided when you handle the PROcede or the dealership correctly All behavior which is bad for the tranny ( drop clutch, doing donuts, etc. ) will be worse with PROcede due to the added power / torque. The usage of 93 octane premium gas is a good advice. - Eugen |

PROcede is a great product. very powerful! many many people are running them now. no1 is having any serious issue engine related or so on. V2 is the best yet.
if u want, take a look at the Split Second Turbo Tuner, its a plug and play device that that is good for 30hp and 40ftlb. not nearly as much as the procede, but its plug and play and can be removed in less than a minute. just a option, as it sounds like ur really anal. just search turbo tuner or SSTT |
