E92 pre-LCI front SE options
Howdy.
I have an E92 Pre-LCI SE and the more I see the front of the car the more I want to drive it into a wall. I keep having a spy on flea-bay for and M-sport front bumper, but all that seems to come up is for LCI. I've seen a few M3 bumpers come up and was wondering if the M3 takes into account the facelift. If not, will this be a direct fit? Either that, or does anyone have an aero lip that they would like to sell me?? Any help appreciated! |

Genuine M3 won't fit. You can get replicas if that's the way you want to go.
SSDD make a good replica aero lip that's very good, it's what I have on mine. |

Thanks guys.
Forgot to say that I've just bought a house and budget is restrained. Hence looking on a used one on e-bay. I think the best option is to save up and get a lip from SSDD when I can afford it. |

M3's won't fit LCI's which there are plenty on flee bay again won't fit unless serious surgut us applied (different light wings etc) The aero lip on the SE bumpers not bad personally I don't like the way it sits on the bumper in terms of the over lap you see on both ends I'd if I opted for this route chose the smoothed in route something that I did on my old E46 with some club sport splitters and something Sam's achieved to perfection with his silver 335. The other route is the aftermarket offering something that I will look into seriously, but it's the quality aspect that concerns me here as I want a product that fits and looks and is made of the same sort of material as the factory item. So it's either something like Josh's 1M look bumper an M3 rep or I will hold out in the hope that a PDC spec' sport bumper will come on to the market. |
