JB4 Logs - Dropping Timing.

Under the JB4 Logs, when the timing is dropped what does that mean? Does it mean the motor is getting knock, dentation or what? Here is a log from my single turbo setup 17-18psi so you can see what I am talking about.. Just running pump 93 octane for now.

Generally a response to perceived knock, but the DME is pretty sensitive so it's not uncommon to see 3* drops from time to time, especially on 93.

I generally run 4-5 3rd-4th gear pulls with little cool down and look for consistency. If you are seeing those corrections on multiple pulls then it needs to be corrected.

Ok thank you for this information, I will try a few more logs tomorrow. How might you suggest on correcting this issue? I am thinking adding a light e85mix to the fuel.

I would reduce timing targets. You're pushing a lot more air than stockers with the single - I would keep it on the conservative side.
