Amp options for Rear speakers
I have the Gladen speaker and amp set up for the front and under seat speakers in my e93 using the Gladen 2 channel harness and am starting to miss the sound from the rear speakers.
Is there an option just to amp the rear speakers now using the existing wiring or will I have to buy a new amp and a 4 channel harness?

It shouldn't be to bad to add a harness

for the back channels. All you need is a way to run the other two channels to the trunk (assuming that is the new amp location) and back to the speakers. Its only two channels and two wires. |

When the volume is loud it's not too much of an issue but at normal volumes I really miss the rear fill in.
Sound is there as the speakers are still connected to the HU it's just so much quieter than the amped front speakers I can't hear them. I only have a 4 channel amp the power the front and the underseat speakers. Are you suggesting I wire up the rear speakers to the same inputs on the amp as the fronts? I guess this would be possible but I'd be worried about over stressing the amp even though it is currently at it's lowest settings. The other issue is that I would then also have no front to rear fade. |
