Wheel repair shop/refnish
Im looking to refinish a set of BBS CXR in 19s and need a very good reputable place to do the work. They have bends but I can't see them so I need all them straightened at well. Called Wheels Of America but I heard with the new management they have been slacking off.
total was 600.00 thats with everything. Any reasonable shop around that price. I don't want to take it back and forth for work which I did before. |

Had my wheels refinished at Wheel-tech just last month (http://www.rimrepaircenter.com/). Total was close to $700 for rash repair and painting on all 4 wheels, and straightening 2 of them.
No complaint and the wheels came out looking like new.

My buddy just redid his wheel at wheels America. They did a great job. His wheel was bent, couldn't hold air. Fixed up his rash and painted it. He says it rides smooth, no vibrations. Says he'd go back to refinish the other 3.

My 360 Forged were always leaking air after he fixed them up and painted them. My bro brought his CCW's there because of a crack. He welded it but it only held up for a month or so. |

My 360 Forged wheels has a leaking air issue at one point too. Got those fixed right away and it didn't come back.

Not sure if your still looking but I have used wheels america (over by united hq, I think it's mt prospect or desplaines) and wheel tech ( in highland park) and wheel tech did a far superior job compared to wheels america. I had to bring the rims back 3 times to WA because of a peeling finish. Not one issue with WT and they looked good.
If powered coating is an option, WT offers it but Precision Powdercoating in Crystal Lake does a great job as well. |
