CCFL or Stock e90 328i

Bought some angle eye headlights the other turns out the angel eyes were LED i didnt realize there was a difference at first so i shipped them back out and im waiting on my refund. I purchased them because my factory set are broken due to a minor accident i had. I somehow managed to put them back on once i removed the aftermarket led angel eyes. My next step is to get the CCFL angel eye headlights. I believe theyre much better and i am able to switch the eye of the ccfl to a much more expensive bulb that way my eyes are visible during daylight.

CCFL worth it or not? Opinions would be appreciated!

Personal experience, no stay away, bad projector output, cheap lenses, CCFL are bright but not brighter than LEDs. Overall quality is not there for a BMW.

Send in your halogens to OSS for a few hundred more you'll get a black out, projector retrofit, and LED angel eyes.

PM me on what you have questions on.

Ebay lights or Spyder headlights are garbage. Even depos get better but nothing like oem housings and lenses then sent to a reputable shop

Aftermarket headlights have poor optics and reflectors. They never have the same light output as oem. And because of the poor optics, you get scattered light everywhere. For headlights, oem is the only way to go.

If you care about headlight performance, your best bet is to retrofit oem HID onto your car. You can probably source a used pair for around $500. But you will have to do the work yourself and it will also require coding.

not my pics

either way. oem lci halogens > cheapy ebay projectors, especially those that you have.

and just for reference, going from my e90 to my girls e90 (still with pre-lci halogens) the lighting difference is night and day, along with the over all more aggressive look of the lci headlights.
