I'm on the fence on doing a couple of cosmetic mods- one being carbon fiber mirror caps, and another being carbon fiber front splitter lip.
Trouble is, I somehow doubt it would matter on a BSM car. And alpine white, or space gray car... on the other hand... P.S. You got me beat by two bucks for the performance grilles 102$ @ Morristown BMW with CCA discount. |

CF mirror caps will definitely pop much better on your car than mine, but if you're going to go that route make sure the front lip at least or some other accent is CF, because just one CF mod doesn't seem to work. I see you have that base covered with the side skirt splitters. I would love to see what they look like, as I've never seen side skirts splitters before on an E92. I personally hate the elephant ear mirrors we have on our E92 / E93s. Don't even get me started on the wind noise that comes from them when the top is down. The 2009 coupe mirrors were so much better IMO. I was thinking of doing an M3 mirror conversion but between the glass the hardware etc. etc. you're talking a couple of thousand at least... I suppose I should get the bumper repainted from all bottom out scrapes before I even consider a front splitter, but I'm sure it will happen again. The m-sport sits so much lower than the regular bumpers, and with sports suspension and 19 inch low profiles, it's damn near impossible to avoid with all the shitty New York and New Jersey roads and low driveways I honestly don't know how the hell you lowered folks do it. |
